Location: Lambton County N 42 57.165 W 82 06.809
On the south side of Erie Street, in the park. Just west of the Legion.
This memorial was erected in 2008 by the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 388, which is found only a short distance to the east. Made of black granite, this replaces the old memorial once found in front of the library. The engraving is the same on both memorials, however this solid stone should last much longer than the brick design of the original. The names of those lost in the World Wars are listed, six from each war. A stone cross, also taken from the original cenotaph, sits on top of the memorial engraved with the iconic words "LEST WE FORGET". The white brick base also appears to be from the original memorial.
