Mildmay

Location:  Bruce County   N 44 02.509    W 081 07.163
On the south side of Absalom Street West, just east of Elora Street.

This memorial remembers the men of Mildmay and Carrick who gave their lives in the World Wars and Korea.  Originally erected with a single granite stele shortly after the Great War, the park was largely renovated in 1951 and two more granite steles added to honour those who died in the Second World War.  At that time the sidewalk, drinking fountain and landscaping where added to create the pleasant memorial park which we share today.
