2101 Innisfil Beach Road, in front of the Town Hall.
This memorial stands in front of the Innisfil Town Hall. The area is rapidly growing and this fairly new cenotaph was erected to go along with the theme of taking pride in the community. The memorial does not mention any specific wars or honour any specific names of the fallen. It does have the crests of the Canadian Army, Navy Air Force and Merchant Navy etched into the base. Nice to see some colour on the memorial in the form of poppies and the town crest. I would have liked to seen some mention of the names of those who died and the conflicts in which they perished of all those local heroes who they claim to be remembering.
