Chapleau
Location: N 47° 50.625 W 083° 24.197 Located in front of the Royal Canadian Legion, Harry Searle Branch #5, at the corner of Young Street and Beech Street.
This memorial features a three piece stone memorial and a German trench mortar, located outside the Harry Searle Branch # 5.
The stone memorial features three seperate sections. The main centre section is simply dedicated "To Our Glorious Dead 1914 - 1918"
The left section features the Roll of Honour of those lost in the First World War, as well as dedication details.
The right section features the Roll of Honour of those lost in the Second World War, as well as Korea and NATO peacekeeping.
A German trench mortar is displayed in front of the memorial, and is dedicated to those who fell in the Great War.

This is excellent but I would ask that you change James "Norris" to James "Morris" ...James Morris, my father, was killed on active service in the RCAF on July 16, 1943.
