Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation
Location: N 45 57.632 W 081 59.761 Located 5 kilometres west of Little Current, on the south side of Highway 540, in the front of the Aundecl Omni Kaning First Nation Administration Office.
The people of the First Nations communities across Canada have never hesitated to answer the call when the nation came calling in time of war. The proud Band of the Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation is no different, with several of its members paying the ultimate price over the years.
This fine memorial, located on the front wall of the community centre, proudly displays the names of those veterans.
