Orangeville - Royal Canadian Legion Branch 233

 

Location:  N 43 55.088   W 080 05.896  The memorial is found in front of the legion, on the east side of John Street, south of Broadway.

The Royal Canadian Legion Col. Fitzgerald Branch 233, has two memorials worth mentioning, on the grounds in front of the meeting hall.

First and most obvious is the Howitzer cannon, restored with a plaque stating the history of this World War 2 artillery piece.
Second is small stone cairn, with flowers and an inscription to the memory of fallen comrades.
