On the south side of Highway 7A, beside the Bethany Municipal Office and Library.
Erected by the People of Bethany and District, this memorial is dedicated in memory of the men from Manvers Township who died defending freedom in the First and Second World Wars.
A bronze plaque can also be found on the front of the municipal building, with the names and details of those men who died in World War I. This plaque pre-dated the stone cairn cenotaph.
