Parry Sound
Location: Parry Sound District N 45 20.759 W 080 02.119
On the north side of Mary Street, in Market Square Park, in front of the public library.
A beautiful memorial to the men of and women of Parry Sound. This three piece cenotaph features a centre shaft of white marble from the original memorial, and two black granite shafts at either side with the names of the dead from the World Wars. Erected by the Women's Institute of Parry Sound, now cared for by the town and the legion, which is directly across the road. A fountain can also be found at the head of the walkway leading to the memorial.
