Ridgeway / Crystal Beach

Location:  Niagara Region     N 42 52.559   W 79 03.577
In the cemetery at the corner of Ridgeway Road and Farr Avenue, under the water tower.

This location in the Crystal Beach Cemetery is home to two memorials and the final resting place of several veterans.
The first memorial was originally erected in Queen's Circle, in the centre of the village of Crystal Beach, in 1921.  It was moved to this site in 1999.
The second memorial is an Honour Roll of men lost from this area in the wars of the 20th century.  It is a more modern memorial, erected by the Ridgeway Branch 230 of the Royal Canadian Legion.

Not far from this location is the National Historic Site cairn marking the 1866 Battle of Ridgeway, a key skirmish in the Fenian Raids.
