Flinton
Location: Lennox and Addington County N 44 41.503 W 77 12.561
On the north side of Flinton Road, beside the library.
The memorial in this small village is proudly sponsored by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 328, located in nearby Northbrook. This Legion branch is also active at several other area cenotaphs during the Remembrance Day ceremonies. The stone memorial pays honour to the two World Wars, the Korean War, Merchant Navy and Peacekeepers. The names of local residents who bravely fought during World War I are engraved on the cenotaph. The list of names appears in a rather random order, not alphabetical as is usually seen. A pair of stone benches and small garden flank the walkway to the memorial.
