Lynden

Location:   City of Hamilton     N 43° 14.626 W 080° 08.901
On the east side of Lynden Road, in front of the Legion.

This memorial sits in front of the Royal Canadian Legion Beverly Branch #500.  It was constructed in July of 1964 and has been used for Remembrance Day ceremonies ever since.  Lynden is a small village, a rural suburb of the City of Hamilton, home to around 500 people.
The memorial itself is not as extravagant as many we have seen, but it is in good condition and remains proud in its role as a place of honour in this community.  A tall arch stands in front of the walkway leading to the cobblesone wall with a simple plaque.
