Lynden
Location: City of Hamilton N 43° 14.626 W 080° 08.901
On the east side of Lynden Road, in front of the Legion.
This memorial sits in front of the Royal Canadian Legion Beverly Branch #500. It was constructed in July of 1964 and has been used for Remembrance Day ceremonies ever since. Lynden is a small village, a rural suburb of the City of Hamilton, home to around 500 people.
The memorial itself is not as extravagant as many we have seen, but it is in good condition and remains proud in its role as a place of honour in this community. A tall arch stands in front of the walkway leading to the cobblesone wall with a simple plaque.

Flinton
Location: Lennox and Addington County N 44 41.503 W 77 12.561
On the north side of Flinton Road, beside the library.
The memorial in this small village is proudly sponsored by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 328, located in nearby Northbrook. This Legion branch is also active at several other area cenotaphs during the Remembrance Day ceremonies. The stone memorial pays honour to the two World Wars, the Korean War, Merchant Navy and Peacekeepers. The names of local residents who bravely fought during World War I are engraved on the cenotaph. The list of names appears in a rather random order, not alphabetical as is usually seen. A pair of stone benches and small garden flank the walkway to the memorial.

Drumbo
Location: Oxford County N 43 14.138 W 80 33.072
In front of the Blenheim District Public School on Mechanic Street, just east of Wilmot Street S.
This memorial was unveiled in 1920, by the local village of Drumbo, dedicated to the war dead of the First World War. Later the names of the dead from the Second World War were also engraved in the stone shaft. The Korean War is also acknowledged.
A traditional statue of a Great War soldier standing at ease rests on top of the granite shaft. Another fitting tribute of a small community to honour the brave men who fought and died for peace.

North Bay
Location: Nippising District N 46 18.758 W 79 27.610
Memorial Park is located at the corner of First Avenue and Ferguson Street.
North Bay is home to the largest municipal War Memorial in Canada. At the time of its dedication, November 11, 1923, this was the tallest memorial and largest bronze statue ever cast in Canada. The bronze statue itself is 8' 6" high and the entire memorial is 26' 6" tall. Before the memorial itself was erected, the park was donated by the local school and trees where planted, dedicated to the names of the dead from the Great War. The statue was first used for Armistice Day ceremonies in 1922, but not officially dedicated as Memorial Park until the following year. The memorial was designed by C.D. McKenzie and constructed by Andrew Craig of North Bay and the McIntosh Granite Company of Toronto.
The memorial wall was added in 2000. It sits behind the main cenotaph and list the names of all 636 men and women from the North Bay area who served and died in conflicts in the 20th century. A historical synopsis of each of those conflicts is also carved into the wall.
The wall is 70' long, with and archway in the middle that allows access to the Memorial Gardens and Filed of Honour beyond the wall. Across the top of the archway are the words: THEY DIED FOR THE LOVE OF PEACE".
Architects were Critchley, Delean, Trussler, Evans and Bertrand of North Bay
Research- Chairman Edmond V. Nicholson CD----Photograph-Kevin Scully.
Contractors were GAP Construction Co Ltd. North Bay and Signature Memorials, Orillia Ontario.
The project was overseen by Project Flanders Committee of the Royal Canadian Legion Branches 23 and 599. Branch 23 is located next door to the Memorial Park.
