Location: N 43° 15.594 W 081°
08.418 At the northeast corner of Queen
Street E and Church Street, beside the Town Hall.
A beautiful park, beside the historic St. Mary’s Town Hall, dedicated to
the remembrance of our fallen heroes.
The park features a garden, a walkway, an arch and mainly a tall monument
to the veterans of the First World War.
Additional plaques on the side of the Town Hall show the names of those
from other conflicts.
There are numerous plaques found around the gardens, including one from
the Women’s Institute and from Dutch emigrants.
The area is beautifully kept for all visitors, and offers a quiet place
for remembrance.
