At the entrance to Arkona Cemetery, 8628 Townsend Line East.
 

This proud memorial stands near the entrance of the Arkona Cemetery, now the resting place of many local men who fought in the World Wars and returned to this small community.  Those that fought and died overseas are forever remembered on this cenotaph.  It was dedicated in June of 1923  by the Arkona Women’s Institute and the citizens of Arkona, Warwick, Bosanquet and West Williams.
The names of the fallen are carved into the black granite shaft, while a white Italian marble statue stands guard over the memories of these fallen heroes and family men.
