In a small park at the SW corner of Ron McNeil Line and McIntosh Street.
 

This memorial is found in a small park that pays tribute to the history of Springfield and to the remembrance of its fallen heroes.  The memorial consists of a cobblestone cairn with a granite plaque and two separate stones representing the World Wars with the names of the dead engraved and painted black.  A small stone along the walkway recognizes the Korean War.
There is also a separate walkway lined with the names of residents of the past and an Ontario Historical Plaque explaining the founding of Springfield and its railway heritage.
This is a very nice and quiet park full of memories and history.  A local resident approached me during my visit and talked about the history of the area and of several of the people named in the remembrance walkway.   A very touching and special moment to have someone share their local knowledge with a complete stranger.
