Location: Sudbury District N 46.36480 W -80.41643
On the west side of County Road 535, beside the church at 31 Main Street.
The St. Charles Veterans park was established in October 2018 with the help of several local businesses and community groups. A plaque mounted on a rock at the entrance to the park gives thanks to these supporters. The memorial park is located next to the Paroisse St. Charles Catholic Church. The memorial consists of three grey granite stones paying tribute to the men of this bilingual area, their names engraved on the two stones marked as the Wall of Honour, in both official languages. Two benches guide the visitor along the pathway to the memorial, each bench is dedicated to the memory of a fallen WWII soldier. No wars or conflicts are mentioned on the stones, simply the names of the local heroes who helped to defend our country.
