Location: Hastings County N 44 29.042 W 77 40.734
On the south side of Highway 7, east of Hastings Avenue.
This memorial is found at the entrance to the Marmora Cemetery, with a small section of the cemetery dedicated to honour those who have served and are buried here. Four rows of commemorative stones, each with its own remembrance maple leaf, line the pathway to the main cenotaph. The main memorial lists the names of those from this area who served and died in the World Wars. This is one of the few memorials which lists more names lost in World War II than lost in World War I.
The memorial is made from a single slab of grey granite. It was erected by the British Empire Service League, also known as the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #237, which is located almost directly across the road from the cemetery.
