Acton

Location:  Halton Region   N 43 37.875  W 080 02.366
70 Mill Street East, at the corner of Elgin Street.

The beautiful memorial was erected by the citizens of Acton, to honour those who gave their lives during the Great War.  A single tall pillar marks the original memorial, while two smaller pillars at each side remember the sacrifices made during the Second World War.
This memorial rests on the grounds of Trinity United Church, and great care has been taken by the town to preserve this memorial and the names of those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom.
