Orono

Location:  Clarington, Durham Region  N 43. 58.515  W 078 36.983
On the north-west corner of Main Street and Station Street.

The well-landscaped memorial was unveiled in November, 1957.  The grounds are tended by the Orono Horticultural Society, and other local community groups.  The style of memorial is common across Ontario, a granite wall, paying tribute to the local dead of the World Wars.
