Port Robinson

Location:  Niagara Region     N 43 02.341   W 79 12.606
In front of the fire hall, at the corner of Bridge Street East and River Street, east side of the Welland Canal.

A very unique memorial and one of the smallest we find in Ontario.  The memorial is a brass plaque attached to a flag pole in front of the Thorold fire hall #3.  It was erected in 1920 and pays tribute to the fallen of the Great War.  Four men from this small community died fighting the war.
A granite stone, placed by the Legion was also added to list the major conflicts of the 20th century.
