In the cemetery behind St. John's Anglican Church, 685860 Oxford Cty. Rd. 2.

During the annual Decoration Day at the St. John’s Anglican Church on June 5, 2016, a new memorial was unveiled to honour the veterans from the church community that had made the ultimate sacrifice during WWI and WWII.

James “Jim” Arthur Langdon is the only soldier listed on the Memorial for WWI.  He was born on September 23, 1882 in East Zorra Township. In June 1916, he fought at the 3rd battle Ypres in Sanctuary Woods, Belgium where he was originally presumed missing and then believed killed on June 2, 1916 at the attack at Maple Copse. He is commemorated on the Menin Gates (Ypres) Memorial in Belgium, as well as on the monument in the Pioneer Cemetery in Oxford Centre.
