Tobermory

Location:  Bruce Peninsula  N 45 15.263  W 081 39.860
On the north side of Bay Street, overlooking the harbour.
This location was originally posted in February 2013, but due to photo storage issues, is being re-posted with updated photos.

A very scenic location overlooking the Tobermory harbour, is home to this attractive memorial.
It consists of three shafts, the centre shaft being the original memorial, dedicated to those who served and died in the First World War.  The two outside shafts list the names of the brave souls who fought and died in the Second World War and Korea.  Oddly, the Korean War is listed as 1949-1953.
