Claremont - Legion Branch #483
Location: N 43° 58.125 W 079° 07.722 In front of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #483, on Old Brock Road.
The Claremont Legion serves the surrounding community, not only the veterans. They offer a banquet hall and regular entertainment for everyone in the area. I also noticed a well organized horseshoe pitch at the rear of the parking area, they must have quite a tournament here.
The monument itself is a white stone memorial, carrying the names of those lost from this community.
