Fonthill

Location:  Niagara Region     N 43.04904   W -79.27552

In front of the Legion, 141 Highway 20 East.

This memorial is found in front of the Royal Canadian Legion Talbot Trail Branch 613.  It was erected in 1987 and pays tribute to all those who have served.  The message on the fieldstone cairn is very simple, however the stone walkway with dozens of names of local members of the Canadian Forces is a true tribute to the scale of devotion to our country that this community has provided.  The project of filling the stones with names continues to this day.  Each name represents service, honour and duty.  The Legion is a key part of the community that continues to play a huge roll in our Remembrance of our heroes of the past and present.
