Wilberforce
Location: N 45 02.160 W 078 13.347 On the east side of Highway 648 (Loop Road), in the park on the south side of the municipal centre.
This is relatively new memorial, replacing the stone cairn which was once found on this site. I have no information as to when this memorial was erected, or the reason it replaced the original cairn.
Wilberforce is also home a very active legion and the Wilberforce Red Cross Post National Historic site and museum, both well worth visiting.
