Owen Sound Armoury
Location: Grey County N 44 34.173 W 080 55.865
The armoury is found on the east side of 8th Avenue, the tank and plaque are found south of here at the corner of 10th Street East.
This memorial is similar to one located in Barrie, and also displays a Sherman Tank, along with a plaque dedicated to the local militia regiment, which in both locations is the Grey & Simcoe Foresters. For further history of this gallant regiment, see my entry for April 10, 2012.
