Dungannon

Location:  N45 00870  W077 47.162  On the east side of Highway 62, south of Bancroft, in front of the Dungannon Township Recreation Centre.

A simple square-shaped stone cairn, with the names of those who served during the major conflicts of the 1900s.  Some names appear in both WW2 and Korea, and some family names appear in numbers in both World Wars, showing the significance of the level of service from this rural community.
