Port Loring
Location: N 45° 55.055 W 079° 58.760 A stone cairn beside the Port Loring Legion, Branch #415, on Highway 522.
This stone cairn is in memory of the men of Port Loring.
Plaque reads as follows:
In Memory of the men of
Port Loring and Vicinity
Who gave their lives in the
Two World Wars
1914-1918: Edgar Cook, W.S. Kettyle, Fred Simms, Frank Stevens
1939-1945: Arthur Buchanan, Dan Gooley, Hector Lamont, Arnold Park, Aubrey Shapter, Don Shapter, Bernard True
R.G Brooks Died on active service.
Greater Love Hath No Man.
and added later on an additional plaque: KOREA 1950-1953
