Location: N 44° 18.704 W 078° 18.137 In Ashburnham Park, the highest point of the city, and one heck of a lookout.The Ashburnham Women's Patriotic League bought Armour hill in 1923 as a park
to be dedicated to the fallen of WWI. In 1937 the League donated Ashburnham
Memorial Park to the City of Peterborough. Since then it has been a war
memorial site.
